the Quality and Reputation of Harrison Schools
The Harrison School District and the Harrison Educational Foundation are
teaming up in 2009/10 to bring significant additions and improvements to
science programs in Harrison schools. The HEF Black Box Planetarium Theater
will re-open its doors this fall with brand new state-of-the-art optical/digital
technology. This represents the first of several major HEF grants aimed at
Harrison science in the coming year.
SCIENCE LABS, EQUIPMENT AND CURRICULA
MOTIVATE AND INSPIRE STUDENTS AND TEACHERS
WHEN THEY ARE CUTTING-EDGE AND ACCESSIBLE TO ALL.
PLEASE JOIN US IN IGNITING UNPARALLELED SCIENCE
ENTHUSIASM IN ALL SIX HARRISON SCHOOLS.
For 15 years, support for HEF has funded hundreds of curriculum enrichment
grants - some large and highly visible - many small, yet highly impactful.
HEF grants help pilot and expedite academic programs that immediately support
broad student populations. These projects help achieve the district's goals and
objectives, but often they are beyond the scope of the school budget.
